To start out with the positive, the staff is nice and the blueberry pastries were pretty good.
The staff was helpful and the food was very good. Having managed restaurants, I couldn't help but notice the condition of the dining area. No tables were wiped down, the floor needed sweeping and the trash can was overflowing. I had to ask for a napkin since all the dispensers were empty. It was not busy enough for it to be in that disarray and nothing changes during the 35 minutes we were there. Sad to say, the restrooms lived up to the same uncleanliness. We like to support local small businesses and wish them well.
Love this place, but I don't understand why a bakery runs out of cinnamon rolls but 10 a.m.- and doesn't make any more... I mean... It is a bakery. It's also pretty pricey. But the rewards program is pretty good, you often get discounts on items - or - free items so I suggest you sign up for it
Best bakery! Delicious and varied pastry selection, teriffic coffee and sandwiches, and even gluten-free vegan selections. Great place, although the seating area could be a little nicer...a minor criticism.
Excellent bakery. Good eats. I love the cinnamon roll. Had that several times. Just tried the seasonal pumpkin apple muffin. Fantastic! The place is clean, including the bathrooms. I've been here several times and plan to continue.
My dirty mocha was $4.25, came in a very small cup that was filled about 80% of the way to the top and I'm pretty sure there wasn't a shot in it. I asked the cashier how far they should be filled up and she said nearly to the top. She offered to talk to "Ashley" and give me a coffee to go to make up for it after she knew what I had, which I turned down. My daughter's chocolate pastry had virtually no chocolate in it.
There are some positives but this place still has a ways to go and I was a bit disappointed for what we spent in the end. Some things are not competively-priced or sized like nearby places in Harrisburg.
